(World News: Spreading the Japanese custom of eating KFC at Christmas to other parts of the world.

Based on a True Story:

It was a day of food, fun, and games for otaku everywhere! The biggest event in Japan's history of otaku culture. It was held at Tokyo Big Sight. Tens of thousands of people gathered there to celebrate their love for anime, manga, video games, and cosplay!

The biggest attraction this year was a live-action show based on the hit light novel series Otaku no Video. In it, a group of high school students would go off to experience different worlds with the help of a magical device called an "otaku burger." This year marked the first time that the characters from the book had been brought to life by actors and actresses who were actually Japanese otaku themselves!

I myself couldn't make it to the event because I was busy shooting a TV special on my own TV show. But I heard so much about it that I got all excited just thinking about it. The only other event like this one I'd ever attended was when they showed up at Comic Market and gave out free otaku burgers to everyone! That was pretty crazy too...

But anyway, as I said, Otakus have gone nuts over this whole thing. And you can totally see why: even if you're not into anime or manga, it's still kind of fun just being around all those otaku guys and girls. They're obsessed enough to spend hours talking about nothing but their favorite shows, so you never know what sort of stories these guys will tell.

And what better place to be than at a huge event celebrating all things otaku? It's a dream come true for any otaku. For me, though, it would just be a major pain in the ass.
